Landscape Architecture
Landscape architecture, also known as landscaping, is the job of planning and designing the environment, especially so that roads, buildings, etc. combine with the landscape in an attractive way. It involves the systematic design and general engineering of various structures for the purpose of construction and human use, investigation of existing social, ecological, and soil conditions and processes in the landscape, and the design of other interventions that will produce desired outcomes. The scope of the landscape architecture is highly broad, therefore it can be subdivided into several categories including landscape design; site planning; stormwater management; erosion control; environmental restoration; parks, recreation and urban planning; visual resource management; green infrastructure planning and provision; and private estate and residence landscape master planning and design; all at varying scales of design, planning and management.
Please note that the Landscape Institute (LI) is the only chartered professional body that accredits landscape professionals and university courses in the UK. If you need a landscaping project, we prepare the project you needed as Further and get approval of chartered landscape architects.
