Mr. Istemi Kose

Istemi was born in 1988 in Istanbul. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (RQF Level 6 / SCQF Level 10 / CQFW Level 6) from Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, in February 2014. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree, he served as a Reserve Officer Architect in the Civil Construction and Real Estate Branch of Turkish Staff Colleges from 2014 to 2015. Subsequently, he worked as a Site Architect and Assistant Site Manager with Saudi Arabian Baytur Construction Company from 2015 to 2018. Within this period of time, he considerably contributed to the implementations of the projects of high-profile customers such as Saudi ARAMCO, Petro Rabigh and Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF). He has completed respectively Non-Process Buildings Project of Petro Rabigh, Blast-proof Manufacturing Satellite Office Buildings Project of Saudi ARAMCO, and King Faisal Air Base F-15 Fleet Modernisation Programme of RSAF. After deliveries of these projects, he moved to Latvia and received his Master’s degree in Civil Construction and Real Estate Management (RQF Level 7 / SCQF Level 11 / CQFW Level 7) from Riga Technical University in January 2020.

 

Istemi defended his Master Thesis “The Influence of Urban Planning on the Real Estate Development in the Baltic States” and he has recently been carrying on his academic research on the interrelation among green architecture, urban planning, and real estate development in densely populated areas in the context of sustainability. He also presented his co-authorship article "The analysis of urban planning aspects and development of residential real estate in Tallinn, Estonia" within 61st International Scientific Conference of Riga Technical University in 1-3 October 2020.

 

Due to the fact that Brexit creates new business opportunities, Istemi has considered moving to the United Kingdom, and he established Further Design & Management Limited in May 2021. Istemi is a holder of CSCS AQP Card, and certificates of First-Aid-at-Work and SMSTS and he is an RICS Candidate with Construction Management pathway since May 2023. He efficiently speaks English, Turkish and Russian languages, and is a member of Chamber of Architects of Turkey as a part of the International Union of Architects (UIA). Istemi is interested in photography, painting, sketching, graphic design, playing chess, table tennis and pool, trekking, and cycling.
