Modern Concrete Architecture

Engineering

Engineering is defined as “the activity of applying scientific knowledge to the design, building and control of machines, roads, bridges, electrical equipment, etc.” in the Oxford Dictionary [1]. As Further, we do just this: We design, build, and control what you need applying our scientific knowledge. We offer both structural and MEP projects to the users.

Structural Design & Civil Engineering

Structural design, a sub-discipline of civil engineering, measures and calculates the strength of buildings and structures, and their load-bearing capacity and resistance to external factors such as earthquakes and wind etc. In doing so, it calculates the load on the elements of a structural system depending on various usage scenarios, sizes these elements in the context of the relevant standards and regulations, and makes control calculations. Structural design and structural engineering theory are based on the laws of physics and empirical knowledge of the structural performance of different materials and geometries. At this point, Further offers structural design of any project and to prepare static project including calculation.

Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Projects

Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects of buildings are usually designed by an expert engineering team. Engineers working in the MEP field are well versed in a wide range of disciplines including mechanics, fluids, thermodynamics, heat transfer, chemistry, electricity, and computers. MEP design is essential for planning, decision making, documentation, performance, cost estimation, and operation and maintenance of facilities. We can exemplify this importance as follows: While a self-builder or plumber can select and install a hot water system in accordance with the relevant building regulations using common application techniques, a team of MEP engineers are able to research the best design according to engineering principles and supply these designs to the builders.
